Someone asked me “what do you write poems about?”
I was a little hesitant to reply and I didn’t like that I was. I was afraid that the person might judge me for what I do and why I do it.
Then I realized as I gave my answer I was just being honest about that phase of life.
I wrote about feelings, thoughts, the joy, the pain, the wins, and the heartbreaks.
So yeah, I’m proud of that book and what I wrote in it.
It’s a personal bearing of my heart in words that I share to the world. Why? I don’t know. I just know I needed to do it.

I’m letting this one go out there.
